Student Ministry

The student ministry at Rice First Baptist Church is committed to reaching non-believers and connecting them with believers.  Students are encouraged to grow in their faith and discover their ministry, so they can effectively honor god with their lives.  Weekly bible studies include Sunday School, Wednesday night activities, yearly camp opportunities, Teen bible conferences and mission opportunities.

Children's Ministry

Children are a gift from the Lord and are a very important part of Rice First Baptist Church.  We believe that children are not the church of tomorrow, but a real part of the church today.  The spiritual education of a child is an essential part of our overall learning.  With that conviction in mind, Rice FBC provides wonderful opportunities for your child's spiritual growth through Sunday School, Children's Church, VBS, Camp, Etc.

Adult Ministry

At Rice First Baptist Church, adults have many opportunities, too.  Sunday School, Fellowships, community projects, etc., just to mention a few.

Music Ministry

The music ministry of the Rice FBC is full of worship, praise, prayer, and the reading of and the proclamation of the Word of God.  These point the unbeliever to Christ and the believer to a closer walk with Him.

Outreach Ministry

We believe that it is the duty of every believer to reach out to those around them with the Good News of Jesus Christ.  At Rice FBC, we utilize the Sunday School class as an outreach tool.  The small group is where the greatest ministry can happen.  Friendships are made and lives strengthened.  As a part of the Sunday School ministry, our church utilizes a strategy for outreach called Invest & Invite.  Through these tools we strive to introduce our neighbors to Christ and to help those who are in need.

Missions

A portion of our offerings go to local, state and international ministries as we cooperate with outer churches in spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ to all nations.

Bus Ministry

Rice FBC provides transportation to anyone who needs a ride to church activities and services.  Many children take advantage of this ministry.
